Keeping up the tradition, Ubisoft’s next ‘big franchise’ has ceremoniously taken the well trodden road with an astonishing 6 minutes of gaming footage leaked.

They could have fooled us with these screenshots looking more like digital artwork more than anything else. But Warner Bros Interactive seem to have come up trumps on the visual front of the up coming Arkham Origins.

Batman: Arkham Origins is currently being developed by Warner Bros. Games Montreal. It is set to release on October 25, 2013 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC.
Creator of the classic Future Wars, Cruise For A Corpse and Flashback is currently in the midst of brewing an Android and iOS version of the action RPG smash hit, Darkstone.
There are currently very little details regarding the conversion but fans will be glad to hear that the game will be retaining most of the aural delights that made the first game unforgettable. We’re hoping it will include the original Audren theme song.
Darkstone is played in the style of Gauntlet/Diablo, featuring tons of randomly generated levels and 4 distinct classes to choose from. It had a smooth progression of difficulty and 3D sprites with an isometric and top down view and a fully rotatable camera. The game also allowed co-op action either with a human or AI controlled second player, which is much more that gamers can expect in any PS3 or Xbox 360 game.
Darkstone is slated for a June 2013 release.
Activision has confirmed the release of Call of Duty: Ghosts which is widely believed to feature an old character from Modern Warfare 2 who goes by the moniker, ‘Ghost’.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is expected to be released on Nov. 5 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The company will provide an exclusive first look at the game during Microsoft’s May 21 Xbox event.
The Windows operating system giant will be unveiling the new Xbox Durango/720/Fusion at that event. Activision said Call of Duty: Ghosts will launch on next-generation platforms, hence the reason for Activision’s presence at the event.
On the brighter side, Peter Molyneux is also expected to make a grand appearance at the big show as well.
Nintendo Wii U’s latest console update includes a Virtual Console. The software update will also have Miiverse support and ‘off-TV’ support as well.
“People who have already downloaded these games to their Wii System can transfer them to their Wii U consoles and play them in Wii Mode at no charge,” Nintendo explains. However, “to upgrade and take advantage of the improved Wii U features, they can purchase them at the special discount price of just $1 for NES games and $1.50 for Super NES games.”
